hmm
back in the sub-3x10^8m/s
speed world of sprint tri ; couldn't be bothered to get up for "20 mins easy
bike" this morning. That's a bad sign.  But don't see that it is really
going to make any difference and is too dull on a stationary bike in gym. You
could argue that a 20 min easy run the day before a race doesn't make any
difference & I usually do that but that is LESS BORING.  So what
with everything else decided to have an extra hour in bed - then turned up at
work in a really good mood so maybe was the right choice!
Need to think +ve for
tmrw so enjoy the experience.  Concerned about how bike will perform
though.  Check back tomorrow for the exciting conclusion! Then we can get
on with the important business of MDS training.
Nutrition:
- ytday after eating pret
sandwich for supper pre-grading had high heart rate about an hour later. not
sure whether due to sandwich or nerves & missing target train.  I think
was sandwich.
- Eggs, mushroom, tomato
for bkfast today.  But hungry (or at least not "satiated") again within
couple hours.
- Large salad for lunch
with a bit of a pause in middle to digest then 500ml water once finished.
Trouble normally with salad is don't get that "full up" feeling even though am
not hungry after.  The large amount of water seems to help somewhat with
that.
- Another note from today
is that 2xtea + 1xdecaf coffee in morning leave with elevated heart rate. Think
is due to the heat ingested rather than caffeine or anything
else
- & another another
thing to note (not from today though) is if have had caffeine & then do hard
exercise  - such as other day when did spin class in evening & had had
caff coffee during day - get tightness across heart area, just as did during
Comrades with all those caffeinated gus.  Nicht gut.
